What is the latest version. Looking on the Microsoft site it says 4.7 but
on my machine (XP Home) I have version 5.0 (5.0.0381)

The latest version of Windows Messenger is 5.0.0468. The website shows only 4.7 currently
as to avoid confusion (since 5.0 removes some of the 4.x features). You can find the latest
version here:
