I have Windows Messenger 5 setup and I can send messages to people but when
they try to send to me they get a message saying that it cant be delivered.

I'm using an Exchange 2000 IM Server to communicate.

Other users can talk back and forth Just fine.

If I setup a .Net Passport and connect to that I can talk to and have people
talk back.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks,
Scott<-

Greetings Scott,

What you're describing can occur if the Internet Connection Firewall/Windows Firewall has
been engaged. To check for this, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, Communications,
Network Connections. Right click your network/internet connection, then click Properties.
Click the Advanced Tab, and verify that the Internet Connection Firewall is unchecked (if
you're using Windows XP SP2, you'll need to click the Settings button under Windows Firewall
and switch it to Off).
