I've read some of the other newsgroup postings by my peers and have read many
about some issues some of my fellow IT colleagues have been experiencing with
their Windows Media Player playing audio but stopping at the first couple of
frames of video. I believe that problem has to do with either a corrupt
codec and/or perhaps network congestion.
The problem I am having is similar except that I get absolutely no video,
not just with streaming video but also with also with locally stored content.
I have rolled back to Windows Media Player 9 from 10, I have also manually
reinstalled 9, and even reinstalled my codecs.
I'm hoping one of you has seen this issue and knows of a resolution to it
without completely blowing away a Windows installation. I appreciate your
time and your consideration.
