MPEG's once opened in Media Player somehow now open in
Quick Time. How do I set Media Player as the default
video player when I open an MPEG file?

Quick time download changed your default viewer. Go to
Click to expand...

Tools
Folders
File Types
When it displays the file types go down to the MPEG and
other movie files and change the player you want to use.
