windows media player skins

Ok, here is my problem: I have downloaded a few skins from The Skins Factory,
including Alienware Teleport, and they all worked fine. I recently attempted
to download the newer Alienware ALX Vortex skin. The first time my media
player went into Alienware Teleport skin mode, not ALX Vortex mode when it
was done. The second time it went into the right mode, but only when i chose
"view" on the screen when it had finished loading. I went to full mode, and
then went to skin choose, and it appeared in the list on the media player.
However, when I tried to access it from that menu, it does one of two things:
either it does not load at all, or it loads as a different skin, one that
looks like the default skin, but a little less detailed. Also, it usually
wont load in the skin at all unless i choose the small arrow in the bottom
right corner of the media player that says "switch to skin mode."
Double-clicking on the name or choosing apply skin doesnt even work most of
the time. Sorry if this post was way too long, but I tried to include any
information I thought might be neccessary. Any help would be great! I dont
know what to do, and this is very annoying!

I'm not even clear on the exact problem. Are you able to switch to
another skin successfully? Have you contacted the Skins Factory about
the issue with their skin?

Which version of WMP?

wmp 10, i can switch to any other skin no problem, no i have not contacted
skins factory
