Windows Media Player closes

I am running Windows Media Player 9 on Windows XP. For
the last one week whenever I open the player, it
automatically closes itself. I have tried reinstalling
WMP 9 and restoring the system but nothing has corrected
the problem.

Pls help.

Hi Louis. For some reason my xp doesn't even function

properly with wmp9. My computer reacts to it as if this
was a virus. I can't really enjoy the music without some
corks appearing somewhere else. I simply do not use
wmp9. Sorry I can't help you.
