Windows Media Player can't play Movie files!!

Hello,
I have Windows Media Player V10 and it can not play movie files for example
mpg. Please help.

What do you mean by not play? Does WMP start? Is there an error message? Is
it set as the default player. Tools/options/file types.
 
Sorry guys, Now its Ok. I don't know what's happened before it was not open
big file like movie files and I was use PowerDVD software to open them.
