Still trying to get the broadcasting feature of PPT2003
to work with Windows Media Encoder and Windows Media
Server. I currently receive the error "Failed to start
Windows Media Server ASF session" when I start the
broadcast. Knowledge base article 318513 suggests this
is a known issue with Encoder version 7.0 and 7.1 and I
should uninstall those and reinstall encoder version 4.
I'm using Encoder version 9 and can't find an encoder
version 4 to download. I have Windows Media Services on
a Win2000 box with all the plug ins necessary for
broadcasts. Any help? Thanks very much.
