Thank you very much, wasn't sure if ME was close enough to Win2000 to work......

No

You need Windows 2000 or XP

Actually Windows ME wasn't close to Win 2000 at all. (And what a waste of
R&D money! Pee-yew!)

LOL,
ME actually does work, if you take about a
month and "beat it into submission"

I'll give you that one but most home users don't have the (1) know-how, (2)
time, (3) inclination, or (4) patience to do so.

I used to sell computers and all I ever heard about Win ME were complaints.
Gee - why did I stick with Win98? DUH! Upgrading to XP has been okay - so
far. The skeptic in me can't be kept down.

before xp and xp pro I had only used windows 98/ se. I'd say that xp is
head and shoulders over the 98 version. I really like it. haven't had a
crash or other unusual lock up on it ever and I'm not all that "nice" to my
computers either.

Just remember a lot of those suckers didn't have
much choice. That is what their computers were delievered
with.

So is FrontPage 2000 the last one you may use with ME?

Actually, either FP2000 or FP2002, as they will work with disk-based webs.

no - 2002 can be used with it - it says so on the packaging under the 'system requirements' on the side of the box!

I don't believe I use disk-based-webs with 2000 and ME,
as I have no idea what that really means. I update my
web pages directly from FrontPage. Had to tweak a
web server in order to do so though. I just wondered if that would
work with 2002 as well, seing it is next to impossible to find
2000 over here.
