Any help you can give me in solving the following problem will be
appreciated.

I cannot access system information on my computer. I have XP installed and
have plenty of Ram & Disk space.

I use the following steps to access System Information:

(1) Start
(2) All Programs
(3) Accessories
(4) System Tools
(5) System Information

Upon accessing the System Information screen, I receive the following
message:

"Can't Collect Information" "Cannot access the Windows Management
Instrumentation software. Windows Management Files may be moved or missing"

I reinstalled XP and still have the problem. Does anyone have a simple fix
for this problem?

Just a wild guess: do you try this as admin or as a simple user?

search for msinfo32.exe from the search menu in start and then drag it to
where ever you want.
