Can not send emails from Windows mail. Had no problem a few weeks ago. Have
contacted ATT (provider to see if they could help three time) Here is message
I keep getting:

Subject 'Fw: Fw: [thrombocytopenia] Surprise, surprise', Account:
'pop.att.yahoo.com', Server: 'smtp.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server
Response: '250 8BITMIME', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250,
Error Number: 0x800CCC7D

Do you get the error when sending all messages or just that one? (If just
that one, try Forwarding the message as an attachment instead.)

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Has a Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on this machine
(e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought it)?

Is your anti-virus application configured to scan outgoing (and incoming)
mail?

Any chance the third-party firewall and the Windows Firewall are both
enabled?

Did ATT tell you that SSL should be enabled and Port 25 used with SSL
enabled? (NB: Don't confuse the SSL option with the "My outgoing server
requires authentication" option.) See
