Hi I have been using hotmail.com for 5 to 6 years now why is it no longer
accepted in windows mail. So Now trying to get this solved i have a gmail
account unneccary a yahoo account unnessary not knowing they changed now i
have to register how my pop smtp imap for each of these accounts how do i
find out which of these im using

For Gmail use these instructions:

US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, no POP
access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not webmail.
Yahoo's solution is to pay Yahoo for their premium "Mail Plus" service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/overview/index.html
and use the special settings for that service:

If you want to use a Hotmail account, upgrade to Windows Live Mail:

Windows Mail cannot access any webmail account, like Hotmail.
The newer Windows Live Mail can access Hotmail, and POP and IMAP accounts.

WM can access Gmail, if you enable POP service and configure it correctly.
Gmail now has instructions for enabling POP and for configuring Windows
Mail....

WM may be able to access your Yahoo account, if you have the Plus account,
which allows you to access the POP servers.
Yahoo Mail Plus account..

To change the server names,
Tools - Accounts - (youraccount) - Properties - server
