I have tried to send mail using Windows Mail but the system keeps telling me
I have errors using SMTP and POP3. Yet I cannot find the area to adjust
this. Help!

Please select the error message>right click>copy, right click>paste the
error into your reply here.
Can't help without that/those error messages.

hi, I am having similar troubles set up config to get my aol mail on my laptop, recieve mail but can't send it error messege reads--- The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was 'maurysjones@aol'. Subject 'morning hair',
Account: 'IMAP.AOL.com', Server: 'SMTP.AOL.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server
Response: '501 SYNTAX ERROR IN PARAMETERS OR ARGUMENTS', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 501, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

also problems/error messege concerning XAOL-UAS-MB authentication

think i set up the config correct... IMAP.AOL.com/SMTP.AOL.com ?
 
The email address is not correct: maurysjones@aol should be (e-mail address removed) .
