I am using windows vista and find that my incoming mail is stoping on a
certain msg, i then get pop3 server has not responded in 60 sec, followed by
error no's 0x800ccc90, 0x800420cd and 0x800ccc19

Did you enter pop3 as the server name? If so, it's an invalid server
name and what happens when you use it depends on what your
internet provider does with invalid server names. In this case, ask
your email provider (who is probably also your internet provider)
for their instructions for setting up to use their email servers. If they
haven't written instructions for Windows Mail yet, their instructions
for Outlook Express should also work under Windows Mail as long
as they don't call for using the HTTP protocol. The instructions are
probably somewhere on their web site. Or, you could tell us who
your email provider is and see if anyone here already knows where
to find the instructions.

Are you getting any messages downloaded before reaching the one
that refuses to download? If so, it may be a problem with that
message. In this case, try to find a way to log onto your email
account using a webmail connection, and delete the oldest message
that won't download.

If you need more help, note that many of us can't do much with
just the error numbers. We often need the entire error messages
so we can see parts of it you wouldn't expect to matter.

Let's try the easiest thing first.
Go to the Web page for your email service and read the message there and
delete it. Then try WinMail again.
If that doesn't fix it post back with the complete error message.
