I need to get email from two other (additional) POP3 servers. How can I do
it in Windows Mail?
In Outlook Express I used Identities to get them.

An alternative --- use the SeaMonkey browser/mail suite, in which you
can configure many many accounts easily. Or the FireFox/Thunderbird
separates, which are similar.

I could be wrong, but under outlook express, you did not have to create a
new identity for each POP email account you were trying to access. You could
have had several POP accounts flowing into one identity's mailbox.
And to do what Carey suggests below, just go to TOOLS>ACCOUNTS... and use
the ADD button to add new POP accounts. If you set up three POP accounts,
the mail from all three accounts will go to your one inbox.

go to your one inbox.

Or you can set up filters for them as I do.

In Windows Mail, go to Tools, Accounts, 'Add', then select 'Email Account'
as the type.

Yes, that too. I was trying to keep it simple for starters.
I almost started to explain how you could check any one of the several POP
accounts by using the options under Send/Receive, but decided not to, also
with the goal of keeping it simple.

Anyway, to the OP: Yes, there is a way to add several POP accounts to your
one Windows Mail setup. There are people here who can help you do that.
And once you've done that, there are people like Bill who can help you
customize and fine-tune your setup to where it works like a complicated, yet
finely tuned machine.
All ya gotta do is ask how.

Not a good reason to switch away from Windows Mail.
I doubt you'll find a mail client that is easier than Windows Mail for
setting up multiple accounts.

Thunderbird is pretty damn simple when it comes to setting up multiple
accounts.

I see how to setup multiple accts on Windows Mail, but nowhere to switch between users. Seems all users get mail on send/receive. How do you set up like Outlook Express "switch identities" to only get mail for one user and keep that secure from other users on same pc?

No such thing as Identities in Windows Mail, unless you
purchase a separate add-on:

There are a couple of other options:
1. Give each user their own Windows log-on.
2. If privacy is not that important, set up filter rules so that
incoming mail is directed into different User folders.

Why not simply create a folder and setup a filter rule to move all your
messages from your desired email address to that folder?
