On the windows mail (2006) installed with the computer there is a bar
that says file - view message- tools with options etc etc. On
Windows Live beta I downloaded for my husband there is no such bar so
for example, I can delete my deleted messages on exit. Is there one
available or do you just do without if you use the beta version. From
what I have read this beta version is suppose to be better. Any
comments???? Thanx. Judi

In WLM, if you don't see the File - Edit - View etc. toolbar, just press the
Alt key.

To show it permanently, press Alt-M and check "Show All Menus"

The proper newsgroup for WLM is
microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

Ha! and I thought she was looking from some specific command under options.

Two ways to find what you're looking for . . .

1.) Simply press the ALT key to have the old menu bar pop up, click Tools -
Options.

2.) Look in the upper right hand side of the tool bar, just to the left of
the Help icon (the ?) there's a drop down menu and you can get to the
options dialog from there.
