Maybe someone can help me....
When I use Windows Mail, all is fine, but when I try to email from Word
2007, NOTHING happens and even my Contacts are un available. Does anyone
know how to email from Word to contacts listed in Windows Mail?...I'm using
Vista Home Prem. 32 and everything is up to date...Help!!!

That can't be done unless you have Outlook installed.
Word needs the MAPI engine that Outlook provides.

I seem to recall that Mozilla Thunderbird also provides a MAPI engine....

Yup, just confirmed it. I set Thunderbird as default email client and
when I clicked on the Mailto icon in my QAT in Word 2007 it opened a
Thunderbird compose window with the document attached....

Also interestingly, I added some text in the body of the message. This
was sent as well, UNLIKE OUTLOOK, where if you add text to the body of a
message sent from within Word, it fails to be included in the received
email....
