Hello,

I just got a new pc with VISA installed on it. I've tryed several times now
to setup windows mail. It works, but then after shut down and start up it
will everytime want to be reinstalled as if it was not even setup the first
time. Please help.

Thank you,
and Happy Holidays,
Dave

Dave, you could use the spell check! Welcome to Vista/I've had mine since
about May, & you are just freshly in the pool! Water will get warmer as your
temper increases from the frustration with the glitches this software has,
despite all of the fixes Microsoft has already written and released. If your
auto update is working, take a look at the installed history file. My mail
spell check won't check an english e-mail! The error says the language isn't
available.

Your ISP or mail provider will have a web page with instructions
for setting up an email account. Often those instructions are for the
older Outlook Express, but that will work the same in Windows Mail.

Windows Mail comes with the default language not fully set to English.
To correct this, click on Tools, then Options, then Spelling, then the
triangle after English, then some other language, then Apply, then the
triangle again, then English, then Apply, and then OK.
