Sara

Ive googled this two days in a row and can't find anything on it..

When I click on a header (you know the subject/who its from)
And the email opens up.. its got a completely different body.... Happens
with almost all of the emails..

Has anyone heard of this happening? Know of a fix for it??? Cause it's
driving me nutty!!!!

Tools>options>read tab>disable read all in plain text.

Sorry mac but that makes absolutely no difference whatsoever...

It still comes up with the wrong email bodies.....

Lets say i have an email from "Doc on the 12th December"
and I get an email from Larry on the 14th...
if I click on Doc's email - Larrys shows up....

does that make more sense as to the problem??

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them
cause various problems in Windows Mail, although seldom
immediately.

Yeah I have Norton

To me Windows Mail has been running fine the last couple of months
It was only after the last lot of windows updates that I had issues... I
tried system restore but it wouldn't let me go back before the updates...

What will it cost you to uninstall Norton just to see if that cures
the problem, 20 minutes of your time? You can always reinstall.
We've seen hundreds of user reports here of similar situations
where uninstalling the incompatible antivirus cleared up the problem.

I decided to throw caution to the wind and did the ole delete the message
store.. that didn't work.. so I exported my mail to another folder and
deleted what was in Windows Mail... then closed and reopened and imported it
back and it's all back to normal... weird as!

All you did is correct the current issue. You didn't cure the root cause.
The problem will return...

Hi Gary

In this case too much effort.. as the Norton I am running is an OEM Trial
and I want to utilise it as much as I can... It has 14 days left then I can
try anything whatsoever... but would prefer to get the most out of the
freeness of this LOL...
There is a method to my madness! Obviously!

Thanks :)

Download either Avast or AVG. They are both free and better than Norton.

Sorry, I don't see the point in continuing to run a time-limited Norton
trial even one minute longer when there are several good antivirus apps
available that are free forever.
