Hi,

I'm new to Vista and when trying to use Windows Mail it keeps downloading
all my read mail from my server! I've looked at all the settings and they
are the same as in Outlook Express. This is driving me mad!

Sorry if this is in the wrong question area but I couldn't see one for
Windows Mail at all?

If you no longer want your email stored on the server you may take the
following steps Start Windows Mail...>click Tools..> Accounts..> click your
POP3 account (your email account)..>Properties..>click the Advanced
tab..>remove the check mark from the Leave a copy of messages on server
box..>click OK. If when you start your mail you don't see Tools click the
show button in the upper right corner and then hit show all menus. As a side
note by not saving messages to the server you won't be able to re- read your
messages from various computers as they will not be saved. I hope this helps.
