How can I find out what the incoming/outgoing mail servers are for the new
Windows Mail that come with my Windows Vista (preinstalled in new computer)?

Follow the money... ie. ask your ISP - Internet Service Provider.

I have one through Microsoft (ie. hotmail.com). What it is, is that, I'm
trying to set up a new account with Windows Mail. It tells me to go through
"Tools... Accounts... Add... New e-mail account... then it asks me to
identify my e-mail incoming and outgoing servers. I'm not sure what to do at
this point!? Any help?

Hello Neddy143, for hotmail it would be:

POP3 - mail.hotmail.com
SMTP- mail.hotmail.com

do not select any boxes except for the one about your password if you dont
want to enter it every time but thats it.

Hope this helps!

Mail servers are not associated with a mail program. There are
unique mail servers owned and operated by each individual ISP.
So, your ISP is the best source for that information. Your ISP will
most likely have a web page with complete instructions on how
to set up a mail account. Alternatively, you can tell us who your
ISP or mail provider is, and we will look it up for you.

Thanks for everyones help. I ended up figuring it out... the problem was that
the Windows Mail that came with Vista on my computer does accept http's
(which covers most e-mail services). So, I ended up installing a program
called "Windows Live Mail Beta" and it fixed everything. It even
automatically detected which server to use for each of my e-mail providers.
Now, with Yahoo you have to subscribe to their Yahoo Mail Plus (for a charge,
of course) if you want to be able to use it on the Windows Mail. Maybe all of
this may help someone else out and they won't have to go through everything
that I have. Anyways, thanks again to everyone who helped!

Can some one please look up my incoming/outgoing? I have no clue to what that
is.
Email me at (e-mail address removed). Thanx.

Sorry, we don't do private correspondence here.

Is your Yahoo account a free one?
US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, no POP
access. Windows Mail does not handle Yahoo webmail.
There are three possible solutions:

1. How did you access Yahoo mail before? If you are happy with
webmail via your browser, you can continue to use that.

2. Pay Yahoo to get their premium "Mail Plus" service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/overview/index.html
and use the special settings for that service:

3. Another option is called YPOPs. It is free, but requires some technical
knowledge to implement:
