Windows Mail connection dialog box

All,

When WM executes a send/receive command a dialog box
come up to indicate the progress. I can't seem to either hide
this or get it to come up in the smaller (less detail) sized box.
It does not remember the settings the next time I open WM
but shows the full size, all detail box which I don't want. Any
on have work around for this. Not critcal but it is bothersome.
OE would remember my preference.

Did you try clicking on the pushpin in the lower right corner?
