windows mail changed to outlook without consent

on the top bar of windows mail window.
it reads: Inbox outlook express NOT windows mail like it used to be.
how can that be changed and how did this happen?

Hi Athina,

If you are not confident of editing the Registry, then get someone to do it
for you.

Do not alter anything else while in there!

You edit the registry at your own risk.

With WM closed.

Go to Start>Run>type regedit>hit OK.

Navigate to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail. Look for a string valued
key called "WindowTitle" in the right pane, near the bottom, and change it
to whatever you want.

By right click>modify.

Close regedit.

I have "Steve my name" for my WM window title.

If you changed to Vista from XP, then WM replaced OE in the newer operating
system.
