Windows Mail-can't copy & paste pictures

When I Copy and Paste pictures from the web into my Window Mail. they do not
appear. There is only a framed square with print that states the picture
name.

is there a setting change for this?

You can copy the image location, and paste that into your message. Then
there will be a link for your recipient to click on to go to the image.
