Windows mail backup for outlook

Hi,

I’m trying to take windows mail and generate a backup file that can be
read by outlook, essentially creating a .pst like file. From
everything I’ve read and tried, it can’t be done. I’ve tried
creating an export but that’s not readable by outlook. I’ve tried
mailing the windowsmail.pat file to outlook but that was unsuccessful
too. I’m open for suggestions.

You need to save the File as *.dbx* or look for the *.DBX* from the where
you want to backup and then Import it to the Outlook and you can open it,
does this help.

What exactly is "Windows Mail"? Outlook Express? If so then
I recommend you repost / crosspost your question in an OE and
an Outlook newsgroup - this is where you will find the experts on
both products.
