I have a problem with my system, it locks up when booting occassionally, i
have alreadu posted my problem on this, and i am greatful for the advice i
received, but the problem still exosts, i disabled my cd rom drivers thinking
that maybe this was the cause of my problem, but the problem still existed, i
got my ram tested by the vendor and it came back ok.
I have a gigabyte motherboard and 512 ddr 400 kingston ram, an intel pentium
4 processor (prescott) the windows patch already installed.
It locks up when booting occassionally at the welcome screen, it also tends
to lock when using the dvd drive, but not all the time, is it possible that
the ram is not totally compatible with the motherboard, coult this cause my
problem, please help, I'm at my wits end.
