Hi,
I have a PC with Windows Pre-Installed,
why the windows tell that Expire on 90 days?

What happen when the 90 days is over? Will not work the windows?

What I have to do to avoid this.?

Thanks.

S.L.

Have you activate your copy of Windows? The usual expiry period is 30 day
not 90 days.

If the software hasn't been activated then you will get an activation
message appear telling you have only so many days to activate. However, you
say this software was pre-installed? If it is an OEM copy from a PC
Manufacturer such as Dell or one of the other big companies the software is
usually activated by the OEM.

If activation isn't done and the 90 days expires then you will not be able
to access Windows - well not without activating first.

additional Information:

Does an icon appear in the notification area (next to the clock) with a
message about activating? If so click on this to start the activation
process. You need to be logged onto the internet to activate. There are
other ways of activating the software, such as phoning the activation line.
If this is your preferred method then you will need to be at your pc when
you call the activation line and go throught he process over the phone.
Internet activation is far simpler.

If no activation icon appears is there an option on the Start menu which
says Activate Windows. Click Start and then click All programs. Now look at
the very top of section of the start menu and see if there is an option
called Activate Windows. If so you can press this to start the activation.

Alternatively contact the supplier of your PC

It could only be because you're using an Evaluation license.

What happen when the 90 days is over? Will not work the windows?

Correct, unless you upgrade the installation to a full license.

What I have to do to avoid this.?

Purchase and install a permanent license.
