When I try to install software onto my Widnows XP Pro
system, I get a ...

"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This
can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if
the Windows Installer is not correctly installed ..."

I'm not in safe mode. I accidentally ran a command on my
computer that I meant to run on a different PC that I was
VNCed into, "msiexec /unregister".

How do I fix this?

Hi Johnny,

Re-register the installer:
"msiexec /regserver"
