has nothing to do with office.........as well as a windows installer popping
up it changes to InstantLogic Installer also

Jeremy posted this recently:

Usually it's because the Windows Installer 'service' is
not running. To see if it is and to enable it if its not,
click on Start >> Run, then type "services.msc" without
the quotes... Find Windows Installer under the NAME tab
in the window that just appeared. It should be AUTOMATIC
in the Startup Type tab. If it says DISABLED, then right
click it and select properties. In the window that just
came up, look for the Startup Type dropdown thing in the
GENERAL tab. Now select AUTOMATIC from the dropdown menu.
Now click Apply and OK. If it still doesnt' work, I guess
you can pick ENABLED from the menu, but only do it IF
AUTOMATIC doesn't work. This SHOULD solve the problem :)

ive had to disable windows installer cuz it tries to run by itself whenever
I open certain apps

Has to do with InstantLogic a program i tried to uninstall and it went
haywire

Unfortunately, it looks to me as though there is a definate lack of
knowledge about MSI on the part of the company. Installation
programming is rather complex, and software companies would be advised
to leave it to professionals, rather than relegate the task to a
programmer who has no particular expertise in that area. As is
evidenced by this problem, is can be very difficult, if not impossible
to fix a bad installation.
Hope it works out for you.
