can anyone tell me why when I use Windows help I do not get the little
picture usually at the start of an explaination.
eg if it mentions Windows logo key I don't get a picture of it.

If you don't have a Content Type value with content "image/png" in your
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.png registry key, you'll have this problem.

You will need to use regedit to fix it if that's causing your problem.

I hope it works - if I remember correctly, an Adobe program caused it.
