A blue-screen message keeps appearing and I have to restart to either begin
Windows or go into safe mode (which I am unfamilar with). The message says:
"A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent
damage to your computer.
PAGE_FAULT-IN_NONPAGED_ AREA"

The message goes on to say:
"If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or
software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing."

There is also "Technical Information" plus a long seris of numbers and
letters, preceded by "***STOP."
I have uninstalled everything I can think of that's new in the past 3
months, or around the time this problem began (except Norton Anti-Virus). I
do not know how to disable BIOS. Will my computer crash if I do not take
care of this? What should I do to diagnose this problem? Any and all help
will be appreciated. Thank you. -Jeff Linder

Thanks for the link. Since I haven't added any fonts since I bought this
computer a few years ago, can an existing font suddenly become corrupted?
Maybe more likely, something is not quite right with my new
anti-vius/Internet security software -- probably the only new software on
this machine. Is there a driver for new anti-virus software from Symantec?
