windows hangs

Windows explorer hangs when I click to open more than two files in succession. For instance, I open My Documents, I click to open a folder and click within to open another folder, the window freezes. No error message, everything else works fine. If I attempt to close the window, I get a "stopped responding" message and I end the program. I am able to open explorer windows again, but with the same results -- usually two clicks and I'm frozen.

Try going to IE > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced options tab and
disable third-party browser extensions.

If this works, you will need to use BHODemon, a free utility to
discover browser helper objects:
