I have downloaded this update on 30th may, but , like today , i keep getting
told updates are ready for my pc , and its that WGA again, thats about 3
times since i installed it in may , that i have had it appear in auto updates
, i dont install everything automatically i just get informed of whats
available and i choose what to install, but i dont knwo why it keeps wanting
me to download WGA when i have it, how many times do you need to validate the
damn pc

They have released a new updated one. Everytime it's updated, it wants to
download and install.

Would the updates for WGA be 26thMay, 31st May, 27thJune like everybody
else!! If you think thats a lot, look (History) at the updates for
Defender!!

ok , i should get the updates then, i only found one WGA update in my
updates, does each update cancel out the one before, when you download it,
because i know i have seen this two or three times , and downloaded each
time, but when i got another today i thought , not another one, but in
control panel -add remove progs , the update list only has the one listed, im
getting quite confused now!, thanks

They're just new versions of the same program.

WGA is the gift from Microsoft which keeps on giving. They
presume that you are guilty of running pirated software and are
damned well going to prove it. Gawd, this is getting annoying.

You will find only the latest update in the add/remove programs but look
under "history" on the windows update page for previous installations. At
the moment WGA is continually checking your computer to see if you have a
legitimate copy of windows, later this year Microsoft will have to reduce
this intrusion.

No, later this year, they will kill any XPs they deem not genuine.
