windows from links not opening right

I am not sure when this started but all of a sudden,
when I ckick on a link & it opens a new window, the
window is too small & I have to manualy maximize it.
This is happening to any new window opened by clicking on
a link. When I just use CTRL-N, the window opens fine.
I am running WinXP Pro with all service packs &
hotfixes. I am stumped. (not hard to do) Thanks.

Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize)
Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the
size next time.
