I have seen this a couple of times, but it flashed so fast and then
shutdown. Then mine disappeared and it hasn't been back. I am running
Aston Shell, so that might be why I am allowed to shutdown. So I dunno?
You are not running USR iBand are you? Just a wild guess.

i'am not sure it's an error message. it's like when you shutdown sometimes
you get the window that says such and such is shutting down and the bar
graph or you can choose to end now. i have just never seen it before. it's a
new computer at work, but i've been using xp at home for years. also tonite
when i left comptuer shut down fine but that same box did appear. thanks j

hello bill thanks for the response. and to answer your question i'am not
using usr iband thanks j

thanks for the link, read the article so i went in to look at the startup
menu, found one box ticked but no description but also was linked to
microsoft normally i won't mess with anything microsoft for fear it won't
restart but i did anyway and low and behold no more box and so far everthing
seems to be working. thanks again and have a great one jj
