Windows Firewall log settings are going to C drive

Hi,

In ref to XPe image ,Firewall component.

In Control Panel--> Window Firewall-->Advanced tab--> Security logging,
click Settings; "Log File Option" and Name shows up some path say
C:\Windows\abc.log.
Is there any way by which i can set this path to any other path at registry
level ?

Maria,

If you are referring to the Firewal Logging you can use "netsh firewall set logging" command to change the logging settings.

You can use Regmon to monitor while running that command to see what registry values are set.

Btw, IIRC the logging settings is even not part of netfw.inf.
