Hi

I'm using windows xp home.

Can I have the windows firewall turned on at the same time as I am using
Norton Firewall?

Norton will turn off windows firewall.
I do know if you can turn it back on.
You don't want both running at the same time.

Sure, but in practice, you only need one running. Running two at the
same time is redundent, and does not, in theory, allow for more
protection.

Hi Plato

Getting a message saying that my pc is not protected. Thought by turning
windows firewall on it might solve the error message.

Hi Ron

The only reason I ask is that I'm receiving an error message saying that my
computer is not protected. I thought by switching windows firewall on I might
stop getting the messages.
