Before anyone start yelling, I have already gone to Kelly's pressed "F" and have done the registry edits and rebooted

No matter what I do when I look at a directory with Explorer, set the file view to "details" and then use Tools | Options | Fileview to set all directories, like the current one, I receive no error messages and it looks as if execution goes to completion. I've done this after a fresh reboot with only one instance of Windows explorer. Yet this feature fails and does not work

Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Renee,

Export these two keys and send them to me via email:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam

Other than that, once my edit has been applied go to:

Windows Explorer/View/[Select Accordingly]. Then Tools/Folder
Options/View/Apply to All Folders.
