Windows Explorer

I went to Windows Explorer Icon on Desktop and it opened to My Documents. Then to Start>Programs>Accessories>Windows Explorer. It too opened to My Documents. Explorer does appear in the hiearchy of Primary hard drive.
But when I go to my Nero CD burning program to make compilation everything is there

Can anyone help in what might interfere with the opening of Windows Explorer?
