HELP!

I have looked thru all the threads, and I have seen
reference to this problem, but I can't find the
solution. Whenever I try to explore a folder, any
folder, windows explorer shuts down and restarts. The
Event log shows the following entry;

Source: Winlogon
Type: Information
Category: None
Event ID: 1002
User: N/A

The shell stopped unexpectantly and Explorer.exe was
restarted.

I need help with this, I can't explore any windows
folders, even the "send-to" menu will not work. Is there
anyway to fix this.

Sounds like it might be worth trying a System restore to a date before you
first had the problem. If that doesn't work try a reinstalling windows but
select the repair option.

Sorry I forgot to say backup your data first!
