Windows explorer HELP!!

HELP!

When in Explorer I used to be able to click on the
folders on the left and all the files contained in that
folder showed up in the right hand window and the folders
stayed on show on the left.
Now when I click on any folder the view on the left
changes to File & folder Tasks how can I keep the folders
on show on the left instead.
I've tried changing a few settings but no joy

When you have the view that you want all your folders to look like try
following these steps:

1. Click the Tools Menu
2. Click Folder Options...
3. Go to the View tab
4. Click Apply to All Folders
