Window's explorer.exe is taking too much memory

explorer.exe or something else is using 99% of my
computer's memory so that I can't open files, and when I
try it takes up to 5 minutes for them to show on the
screen but all I see is the flashlight icon... no actual
directory is displayed. Is this an eventual result
of "error: unable to find main" from the wjview startup
file?

Start by downloading Adaware and / or update Reference file from
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/
and use it to remove parasites. This will not remove all malware but it is a
good starting point.

Where are you getting the 99% figure you are quoting? Is it Task Manager?
Task Manager is useful but you could look at another freeware utility
Process Explorer, which provides similar
information but adds that little bit extra towards seeing what the running
processes represent. For further information about Process Explorer see
here:

I do hope your 99% figure is not for System Idle! If it is we need to try a
different approach to find out what is going on!

Hope this helps.

manager,should I be >worried< ?

No. It normal.

Please do not bury your message thereby making finding a search and rescue
mission! From my view point top posting makes answering much easier.
