Whenever I try to access my C: drive I get this error:
Windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. I click on
the more information tab and it reads:
AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1221
ModName: bvm202.dll
Can anybody tell me what this means? I have scanned my computer for viruses
and it comes up clean. Please help. Thank you.

Looks like your PC has some malware on it. Googling for "bvm202.dll" I
found this: http://forums.techguy.org/archive/index.php/t-248896.html.
Delete the file from within Safe-Mode. bvm202.dll is found in the :\WINDOWS
folder. Then run regedit and search for and delete any registry entry
containing the name bvm202.dll

Your explorer.exe is corrupted. Go to another WinXP machine and copy it from
c:\windows\explorer.exe and replace it with yours. It should work again.

Spyware and from my limited knowledge not the easiest to remove. It looks as
though you may need Hijack This to remove it.
