Under My Computer in Windows Explorer there is a folder entry with the name
of <user>'s Documents (where user is login id) which links to My Documents
folder.

How do I remove this entry from the 'My Computer' area?

Thanks

Hi,
I have quite the same problem :
After installation, I had in left panel of Windows Explorer C:\My Documents
at its 'right' place in the C tree but also a My Documents folder under My
Computer, which is a clone of C:\Myd Documents
After I had right-clicked the Windows Explorer icon/properties and written
the target field as
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n,/e,/root,/select,C:\My Documents

, the clone folder is still at the same place but renamed "Administrator
Documents" and not extended.
I have to say that I'm the only user under "Administrator" name and I
suppressed My Documents folder icon to be displayed on the desktop.

The same problem exists under Windows2000. I add that on different
intallations, when I set the target path in Windows Explorer properties,
sometimes the My Documents clone disapears, sometimes not.

Same question as Al Stu : what to do to have this clone displayed or not?

Many thanks.
