windows error

When opening my Pictures folders, from my start menu not the internet, it
freezes and the option to send an error report comes up. it states it has
encountered a problem and needs to close. this only started happening
yesterday and i'm not sure as to why. no new programs have been installed,
this started out of the blue! is there a way to fix this? if needed i can
elaborate more maybe with the contents of the error report...? Thanks in
advance for any help.

Your Internet Explorer question is?

This sounds like it is a problem that should be asked in a newsgroup for
your Windows version.
