I have gotten a box for sending an error report that will not go away.
It originally said I had a "device driver error which has be restored". I
hit send...nothing happens...I hit don't send....nothing happens.
I have restarted my pc several times .....it's still there. I have used
system restore....it's still there.
Everything works fine but the error sending window will not go away!
Is there something I can do about this? It does not cause any problems
except for the annoying box that I keep dragging out of site.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I am using XP Home with all the updates, firewall and anti virus in full
use.

Thanks,

I think you should right click on the backround and then press refresh or
follow this:

Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and go to applications and click on the application
running that annoys you and press end task.

Thanks Sulfox....tried that already without results. =(
Not sure what else to do.

What is the Error Report in Event Viewer? Please post a copy.
it harder to search for information about the error message.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Administrative Tools,
Event Viewer.

HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308427&Product=winxp

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the
error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a button
resembling two
pages. Double click the button and close Event Viewer. Now start your
message
(email) and do a paste into the body of the message. This will paste the
info from the
Event Viewer Error Report complete with links into the message. Make
sure this is
the first paste after exiting from Event Viewer.
