I'm working a computer for a friend, and for some reason,
I'm only able to view the top, upper-left portion of the
desktop. It's like the monitor isn't big enough to
display the entire thing. If I use the magnifier utility,
I can view the rest if I scroll the mosue around, but I'm
sure she's not going to want to do that on a consistant
basis. I really don't know where to look to solve this
problem, and as far as I know the display driver is
installed correclty (this of course, may not be
true.. :p) Any help on a fix would be great. I can post
more information, just let me know what I need to give!
Thanks!

I found out that my video card drivers were not, in fact,
installed correctly. I found the drivers, installed them
with no problems (Savage IX), I found out that the card
thought my monitor was a flatscreen for some reason.
Fixed!

Look over all the display settings in the control panel
for any which may be incorrect. The direct X tool is in
the system information utility under the tools tab, and
it has a video/ display test and info. If you can try
connecting a differant monitor to that PC to check if the
problem is solved, as mayby that monitor is bad or has
some wrong setting.
