Windows directory size?

I was just wondering what size Windows directories other people have. I
noticed one poster that said she had installed Vista on an 8GB partition--my
Windows directory is itself 8.12 GB, so I was wondering if there's something
wrong with my install, or if she was mistaken, or what... I've already used
the disk cleanup utilitiy to delete "discarded files from windows upgrade" or
some such wording. Thanks in advance.

8.4 Gb here (ouch!)
