What is the make and model of your computer?

What type of Windows XP CD you have?

When did the problem first start?

Hope this helps.

The model is a Dell Latitude laptop. The XP Professional CD is the os
installed on it with SP2. I had the problem occur just once and that is why
now I get the message and can't get it to start windows. I have tried last
known config boot option and have tried the recovery of copying the ntfs.sys
from my install cd to the c:\windows\system32\drivers directory replacing the
existing ntfs.sys with no luck.

Hi, thanks for the link. I have tried those options listed there, but ran
through them again and no luck.
