Hello; question regarding the compression utility.

With pkzip (WinZip) and WinRAR I can give the utility a max filesize for the
archive and therefore it will create multiple files; as in 1.rar 2.rar 3.rar,
etc for easy emailing or moving about on portable media.

Is there a way to do this with Windows XP's built-in compression utility? I
don't have permisisons to add software to my work computer but I need this
functionality, pending approval by the IT dept to get something installed
here.

Thanks much in advance!

zipfldr.dll, the zip archive file handler in Windows XP, provides basic
functionality. It is not equal to full-fledged 3rd party archiving
programs.

I didn't think so. Just curious if there was functionality with which I was
unaware. Thanks!
